• Provide you with a printed work order with the serial number of your equipment upon receipt of your computer.

• Diagnose your computer within 2 business days, and either make necessary repairs or respond via telephone or e-mail.

• Perform service covered under the Apple ® Limited Warranty free of charge.

• Guarantee hardware service for 90 days when genuine Apple ® service parts are used.



We will NOT: [ TOP ]

• Be held responsible for any data loss. Data should be backed up before service is performed. We will make every effort to preserve data, but will not be held responsible in the event that data is lost.

• Provide any type of guarantee when using used parts for service. From time to time used parts are available and can be very cost effective for repairing out of warranty computer equipment, however we cannot guarantee the longevity of the part.

• Condone Piracy. We will not help you pirate software.

Apple Products [ TOP ]

• Sales of all Apple Products are final. Returns will only be accepted if authoriezed by management.

• Apple provides a 1 year limited warranty covering parts and labor for finished goods. AppleCare contracts can be purchased for most CPUs and accessories bundled with CPUs. The AppleCare Protection plan offers on-site warranty service, extended phone support, and 3 years of hardware coverage. AppleCare for the iPod provides a total of 2 years of warranty coverage. Ask your sales representative for details.

• Brown Computer Solutions is an Apple Authorized Service Provider. Warranty service can be performed at 27 Birge Street in Brattleboro, VT, as well as on-site.

• Phone support is available from Apple for 90 days at no cost. Brown Computer Solutions also offers phone support on a feww basis.


Consumables (Ink, Paper, Printer Supplies) [ TOP ]

• Unopened packages containing ink cartridges or paper may be returned for a refund within 14 days. No preauthorization from management is required.

• Consumables that have been opened are only returnable if defective. Defective product may only be returned for exchange of the same product. Defective consumables must be returned within 60 days of purchase. refunds will not be issued unless authorized by management.



Hardware/Accessories [ TOP ]

• Hardware products such as printers, scanners, cables, and drives may not be returned unless determined to be defective. Defective products may only be returned for exchange and must be returned withing 14 business days. Pre-authorization from management is required for a hardware return. All warranties are provided by the product manufacturer.

• Exceptions are at the sole discretion of management. Some hardware may not fit into this general category and may carry a different return policy.



Software [ TOP ]

• Unopened software may be returned for refund within 14 days. Software that has been opened may not be returned.



Special Orders [ TOP ]

• Special orders cannot be cancelled or returned. If you wish to cancel a special order, it is at the sole discretion of management to approve cancellations or returns. Restocking fees may apply.
